History
Also known as the XK-E, the Jaguar E-Type is a British sports car, dubbed with the honor of being called “the most beautiful car ever made” by esteemed car founders and enthusiasts alike. This is a vehicle of beauty and high performance, with a front subframe, carrying the engine, suspension, and bodywork, all bolted directly to a lightweight body tub. The 4.2-litre Series 1 E-Type became one of the most desirable model versions due to its increased power and functionality, while retaining its famous and renowned aesthetic.
This custom modded beauty has been through heavy restoration and modern upgrades to bring it to a one-of-a-kind track ready classic vehicle. We started with a dyno-tuned, high performance 4.5 liter engine, with triple Webber carburetors and ceramic coated headers, then fitted it to a modern 5 speed transmission, allowing us to use a 3:77 limited slip differential and still cruise down the highway comfortably. To help keep all this power under control, we added heavy torsion bars up front and stiffer springs in the rear. But we didn't stop there. We also triangulated the rear suspension, allowing us to set the toe and pinion angle, giving it a very smooth and comfortable ride that feels like you are glued to the road. Stopping power comes from the larger aluminum front calipers with vented rotors. In the rear, we added vented rotors, keeping those inboard brakes cool. For safety, we added a fuel cell, roll bar, and race seats with a 5 point harness. On the outside, we removed most of the chrome and bumped out the rear quarters 3 inches, allowing you to see the cars natural body lines.
